One of my favourite blogs is Northumberland Mam and one of Kim’s recent posts is the ’12 Questions of Christmas Tag’.

Here’s my answers to the 12 Questions:
When does your Christmas tree go up? Who will decorate it?
This year our tree went up late! We put it up in the 3rd week of November, which is late in comparison with last year which was November 5th. This year it was primarily myself who did it with my daughter joining in towards the end.
Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
Christmas Eve, once I know we have everything we need & don’t have to go out anymore then it’s time to get cosy & relax, new pyjamas for the kids, Bailey’s open, mince pies, Christmas films on & chill out time as a family.
What is your favourite Christmas advert this year?
Certainly not the John Lewis advert…..Aldi & Kevin the Carrot all the way!
Is there anywhere you would love to visit at Christmas?
Lapland or somewhere snowy as a family or an adult only trip to New York.
What traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
Family film nights, last minute Christmas food shopping, board games & visiting our local garden centre to look at the displays.
What are some foods and treats you can count on having every Christmas?
Bucks Fizz for breakfast, Yule log from ASDA, brandy cream, bread sauce, pigs in blankets, stuffing, mince pies, Baileys, chocolates & a prawn ring.
When did you stop believing in Santa?Ā
I think I was 9 nearly 10 when I realised, I don’t remember being told though.
As a kid, did a sibling or friend ever receive a present that you wished was for you?
No, I can honestly say I was lucky to receive all that I wanted.
Do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
Giving, every day of the week. Since becoming a parent at 18 there’s nothing I like more than buying for my children.
Are you guilty of peeking at your presents or do you like the surprise?
I like a surprise but I’m quite particular so not the easiest to buy for so don’t often get surprises, I prefer do drop hints lol.
If you could be in any Christmas movie what would it be?
Home Alone as long as I didn’t have to clean up the house!
What would you like to find under your tree this year?
New pyjamas & dressing gown.

Feel free to copy the questions and answer them yourself.

Erin, I’m tagging you to answer the questions too!

  1. I would love to go to Lapland too! And binge watching Christmas movies is the best. We watched The Christmas Chronicles the other day, it’s brilliant. šŸ™‚

Thanks for sharing with #MMBC. Hope to see you Monday. x
