My daughter fancied a new hair style, but didn’t want to pay for it to be done by the professionals, she wanted muggins here to do it for her!
Yesterday, I spent the whole day playing hairdressers, trying to create a two tone style à la Narcissa Malfoy from the Harry Potter films (She’s a Potterhead lol). The dark top half is looking good but we need to have another bleaching session on the bottom half, it’s looking a bit yellow!
Excellent! I hope your styling session was a success.

Ohh! I love the sound of your daughters hair.
I am quite glad my youngest has a couple more weeks off school as the green she put in the ends of her hair at the beginning of the xmas holidays hasn’t washed out yet. lol x

It should be nice when finished, I just wish she’d chosen an easier style for me!

Good luck, I’ve been dying my daughter’s hair for years as she refuses to go to a hairdresser, we’ve done everything from undertoning, to dipped ends and every colour imaginable. I have never had any hairdressing training and it doesn’t always turn out right, but she hasn’t complained much. I hope your end result turns out well.

Wow, that sounds like a brave thing to do! I hope you got the blonde bit sorted.
We’re the other way round here – my daughter would love to go to a hairdresser, but she never has (she’s 14 and has never even had a trim at the hairdresser’s!). She would also love to have her hair dyed, but I’m refusing!
