I don’t know if most dog owners deserve to own dogs
Since it started getting dark in the evening, two dog walkers have stopped in the street to argue that:
- My coat is scaring their dog. Good lord, it’s a coat. It’s cold and raining and you bet I’m wearing it.
- My glow sticks are scaring their dog. Good lord, they’re glow sticks. It’s pitch black and cyclists are racing towards us on modded e-bikes and you bet I’m illuminating myself.
You know what I reckon scares these dogs more than coats and glow sticks? Stopping in the street, in the pitch black, in the rain, being subjected to a loud and angry voice.
I’m sorry for the doggos. Their caretakers need to take better care.
