Landlords and heating: name a more iconic pair
My landlord visited in the summer and disconnected my heating at the breaker box.
“Don’t forget to stick your hands in the breaker and reconnect yourself when it gets cold,” he said (more or less).
Well, guess who forgot, turned on the heating last night and woke up to a fucking freezing flat?
And my hot water’s broken again.
Rent is a trap and no-one’s coming to save us. Why even disconnect the heating in the first place? Why?!
