Some more MeshCore range-finding
I know you’ve all been dying to find out, and I can now exclusively reveal that… Exmouth train station is in range of my MeshCore repeater, Hazbin. Lovely!
I also dropped a bog-standard Heltec v3 with the kit antenna on my desk at work—four stories up and overlooking Exeter’s historic quayside—and I got a staggering 784 metres of range! The range probably goes far further, but that’s just as far as I walked.
It even reaches as far as Exeter St Thomas train station!
It’d be great to see some visiting nodes pop up someday.
